A solid oil balm that melts on contact and emulsifies with water. It takes off mineral sunscreen, long-wear base and mascara in one pass, which neither of the other two cleansers will do on their own — their own pages say so.
Load 0, and the first half of a double cleanse rather than a whole routine. Follow it with the Morning Wash or the Evening Milk; a balm alone leaves a film that a serum will not get through.

How to use
- Evening, on DRY skin and dry hands — water stops it working.
- Massage for 30 to 60 seconds, add a little water to turn it milky, then rinse.
- Follow with the Evening Milk or the Morning Wash as a second cleanse.
Cautions
- Do not use on wet skin or with wet hands; it will not break down makeup.
- Keep it out of the eyes. Rinse with water if it gets in.
- Use the spatula rather than fingers — a balm jar is the easiest product in any routine to contaminate.
