Broad-spectrum SPF 40 from 14% non-nano zinc oxide in a light emulsion with squalane and glycerin. Mineral filters sit on the surface and reflect UV rather than absorbing it, which is why they suit reactive skin and the week after a heavy night.

Untinted zinc leaves a white cast on deeper skin tones. That is chemistry, not formulation, and we would rather say so than pretend otherwise — the Tinted SPF 40 is the answer if it bothers you.

How to use
- Every morning, as the last skincare step, before makeup. Two fingers worth for the face and neck.
- Reapply every two hours of direct sun exposure, and after swimming or towelling.
- Give it two minutes to set before makeup.
Cautions
- Leaves a visible white cast on deeper skin tones — the tinted version is formulated for that.
- Not water-resistant. Reapply after swimming or heavy sweating.
- Sun protection is one part of sun behaviour, not a substitute for shade and clothing.
