Azelaic acid at 10%, suspended in a light cream rather than the gritty gel the ingredient is usually sold in. It supports the look of an even tone and the appearance of calm in skin that reddens easily.
Load 2. Azelaic reads as harsh because of the word acid, but it is not an exfoliating acid and it does not thin the surface the way an AHA does. Most people tolerate it daily. It can leave a very brief prickle on application; that settles within a fortnight.
It has a slight cast on application that takes a minute to disappear on deeper skin tones. Give it that minute before layering anything on top.

How to use
- Morning, evening, or both, on clean dry skin. A pea-sized amount for the whole face.
- Wait a minute for it to set before applying sunscreen or moisturiser.
- Can be used on the same night as the hydrating serum. Do not use it on a night you are already running a load 4 or 5 product.
Cautions
- Not for use on broken or freshly shaved skin.
- A brief prickle on application is expected; persistent burning is not — stop if that happens.
- Patch-test first. Reactive skin should start at every other day.
