Retinol at 0.3%, encapsulated for a slower release, in the same squalane and ceramide base as the retinaldehyde serums. Retinol takes one more conversion step in the skin than retinaldehyde does, which is exactly why it is gentler and why it sits a band lower on the scale.
Load 3. This is where to start if you have never used a retinoid at all — four nights a week here is a better routine than three badly tolerated nights at load 4. Move up to Retinal 0.04 only once this is comfortable.

How to use
- Evening only, on clean dry skin. One pump for the whole face.
- Start at two nights a week and build to four as tolerated.
- Follow with a moisturiser, and wear a broad-spectrum sunscreen every morning.
Cautions
- Not for use during pregnancy or while breastfeeding.
- Do not use on the same night as an exfoliating acid, the Weekly Mask, or either retinaldehyde serum.
- Not for use on broken, sunburnt or freshly waxed skin.
- Patch-test before first facial use. Keep it off the eyelids.
